Our week two team, which included Jess and Mason, served alongside church and community leaders from Iglesia Biblica Cristiana and La Cocha, a neighboring community. During the morning hours, we were able to care for the churches in both communities through facility revitalization activities. Mason loved being able to help paint a church building in La Cocha and cutting down a fresh 20 foot eucalyptus tree to utilize in suspending electrical wires. In the afternoon and evening, alongside church leaders and a translator, we completed follow up visits with the families of children that attended VBS the week before. We shared a clear presentation of the gospel message of Jesus with each family, discussed the importance of the decision that we all must make, answered questions, and prayed over their family. We were able to see hearts, lives, and eternities change right before our eyes. Praise The Lord for the faith of those that believed. We rejoice with the angels for we know that by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone they are saved! The leaders at IBC are helping to lead a new house church in the community of Praderas & are continuing to visit families to offer discipleship opportunities. Please pray for Christ to be fully known!
